The LCB3588 core module is an all-in-one unit meticulously designed on the Rockchip RK3588 chip platform, with a compact size of 75mm by 70mm. It connects to the baseboard using two 140Pin board-to-board connectors with a 0.8mm pitch and four 30Pin FPC connectors with a 0.5mm pitch, all secured by four M2 screws. This setup ensures full utilization of the RK3588 pin signals while providing high reliability, low cost, and flexibility. FPC connectors can be added as needed, offering superior reliability and yield assurance in harsh industrial or long-term vibration environments compared to card-edge or smaller-pitch connectors.
The LCB3588 includes the RK3588 CPU, LPDDR4/LPDDR4X DDR (available in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB configurations), high-speed eMMC 5.1 storage (with options of 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB), and a power management unit (PMU) composed of the RK806 and multiple DC-DC and LDO components. The CPU core voltages support DVFS (Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling).
With a modular design, the LCB3588 brings out all functional pins of the CPU, ensuring they have been fully tested and mass-verified. This approach allows users to save on project development cycles, reduce costs, and improve efficiency for product development.
